On April 8, 2024, Daemen University witnessed its first total solar eclipse since the university was founded in 1947. Campus was closed because of the event. Resident students gathered on the Saffrin Public Square during the entire duration of the eclipse, both the partial and during totality, laying out on blankets, listening to music, and playing catch. The photos featured here represent a snapshot of the festivities on campus during the total solar eclipse.
