Students respond to Excelsior Scholarship program and its effects on Daemen
In a survey sent to and responded by current students, Insight analyzed data in order to find out how students perceived the new Excelsior Scholarship program, its possible effect on their academic future and Daemen’s well being. Combined, nearly 100 undergraduate and graduate students participated, with a plethora of anonymous responses also collected. On Wednesday April 12, spectators gathered to watch a Model UN simulation in the Wick Social Room. Students participating in the event represented various countries and political philosophies while debating global and domestic issues pertaining to the Arctic region.
