This past Saturday, DCLive featured local music band PizzaDoughnuts. The band has been together for seven “moon cycles” and their band consists of five members.

They are a new genre of music called neo-punk blues, with songs titled Banana Blues, Cucumber Blues and DBJB. They have performed at places such as Nietzsche’s on Allen Street and various parking garages.

To listen to their music, you can visit Soundcloud.com/pizzadoughnuts or check them out on their facebook page facebook.com/pizzadoughnuts.

They are a very different kind of band with a different kind of music.

“PizzaDoughnuts thrives by the notion of two as one as we create sweet and savory moments through whimsical acts. Both post-apocalyptic and very optimistic, we ask for you to join in the dance” the band said.
