Sexual assault case still without updates, CHIP Center with message for students

       The College’s special education honor society, Sigma Pi Epsilon Delta, consists of current students both majoring and minoring in special education. Students object to Dean’s List benefit cuts, create petition

On May 1, Daemen College announced that the College earned National Best Value School Designation. Three days later, the College announced there will no longer be a tuition benefit associated with Dean’s List status. Students respond to Excelsior Scholarship program and its effects on Daemen

In a survey sent to and responded by current students, Insight analyzed data in order to find out how students perceived the new Excelsior Scholarship program, its possible effect on their academic future and Daemen’s well being. Combined, nearly 100 undergraduate and graduate students participated, with a plethora of anonymous responses also collected. Model UN simulation: Daemen students take on global issues

On Wednesday April 12, spectators gathered to watch a Model UN simulation in the Wick Social Room. Students participating in the event represented various countries and political philosophies while debating global and domestic issues pertaining to the Arctic region. The simulation touched on many different subjects including land distribution, environmental impact, militarization, natural resources, economic development and indigenous populations.
